Tarra’s Morning

When I awoke to the faint light of the winter sunrise, I pulled myself out of bed & descended the stairs from our loft. As with every morning, I pass the window as I come down, glancing at the heavily snow laden trees that glistened like sugar coated marshmallows in the morning’s crisp air. To my delight, two deer stood there, both munching on the hidden delicacies beneath the snow!

I stood there, frozen, as if the beautiful scene would stay frozen as well. For moments I watched…was captured by it. Then, as a wisp of wind caught in the branches of the trees, the deer just as swiftly took flight & disappeared as if never really there

I love it here! Good morning!

  1. Wonder prose from a beautiful moment. Life is simple and grand at the same time. If you don’t slow down and look at it once in awhile you could very well miss it!

Your thoughts are valuable to me:
